We are now looking for a case officer for a government agency responsible for critical infrastructure. The role involves working with referral management and case preparation related to urban planning and permitting processes. You will coordinate, analyze, and respond to referrals from authorities, network owners, courts, and other external actors.

The work is conducted within the framework of several regulations, such as the Planning and Building Act, Environmental Code, Electricity Act, and Road Act. The referrals may concern, among other things, road and railway plans, area protection, and nature reserves, establishment of energy facilities such as solar and wind power, battery storage, as well as consultations from other actors prior to permit applications.

The overall purpose of the assignment is to ensure that the organization's interests are represented in planning and permitting processes, and that the referral responses clearly clarify requirements and conditions to enable the development, expansion, and renewal of a national transmission and facility network.

  • Contribute to the organization’s ability to meet society's long-term needs for a secure and robust energy supply

  • Support the work of both managing existing infrastructure and planning for new facilities and lines

  • Have many points of contact, both internally and externally, and contribute to efficient work processes that shorten lead times in planning and permitting work

  • Participate in business development and improvement of working methods

You will be part of a community planning unit consisting of case officers, community and municipal contacts, and coordinators. The work is team-based with a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and an open, inclusive work climate.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience in urban planning with a focus on handling and preparing cases related to the Planning and Building Act

  • Academic education in urban planning or other education deemed relevant
